Overview

When hmv were rebranding their online presence on hmv.com I was responsible for a homepage rebrand and UX overhaul.

When hmv were launching their digital offering I was also responsible for the new look and feel on hmvdigital.com.

Full project scope:

  • Hands-on marketing product design UX and UI design for hmv.com
  • Brand and identity creation extension.
  • Launch look and feel and UX on hmvdigital.com

Problem I was solving

hmv had such an iconic brand in stores and were yet to translate the rebrand online. I helped effectively translated the rebrand online and enabled hmv to improve their conversion.

Results

A successful launch of the new brand, UX and IA of their brand website. Conversion increase by 10% live in the first week of the go-live of the new experience.
